Hi! My name is Ms. Lisa and I am the Director of Lambertville Academy.
I attended Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania where I received a B.A. in Communications and completed the programs for Early Childhood and Elementary Education in 2003. I have worked in a variety of school settings before coming to Lambertville Academy including public, private and Montessori schools. I have been with Lambertville Academy since 2007. Since then, I have been Senior Teaching Staff for the Pre-K class as well as the School Age After-Care Program. Before becoming Director in 2015, I also worked as an Administrative Support Staff since 2010. I look forward to pursuing my NJ Director’s Credential in the near future.
In addition to having the privilege of working with young children, I enjoy spending time with my nieces, creating recycled art pieces, reading and traveling to warm places! I love coming to work every day and being able to watch your children grow!
I am a graduate of The College of New Jersey where I majored in Elementary Education and Women’s and Gender Studies. Before coming to The Academy, I taught a variety of different ages at The Goddard School of Ewing and worked at Big Bear Natural Foods in Lambertville.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking, riding bikes, crafting and watching shows and movies on Netflix. I am the proud owner of a vintage Airstream trailer, which I am currently in the process of gutting and remodeling. In the future, I plan to travel the country with my husband and our cat!
I have been working with young children for 7 years. I have worked with children from infancy to age 5. I enjoy all ages and love watching the children enjoy learning new things every day.
I have been a lifelong resident of Hopewell Township. I had such a great experience growing up along the Delaware River with my 8 older siblings! My husband, Jerry, and I have 2 children and now 2 beautiful grandchildren. It is such a joy being a mother and now a grandmother!
I love to read, spend time with my grandchildren, travel and take walks and golfing. I enjoy coming in to work each day to see the children’s smiles and to receive their hugs. What a way to start the day!
I attended Montclair State College, majored in Early Childhood Education and graduated cum laude with a BA and a Preschool/Nursey School Teacher Certification. Soon after, I attended Kean University and earned an Elementary School Certification. Early in my career, I taught preschool in Newark, Bloomfield, Belleville and Irvington, NJ before my first child, Rachel, was born. A few years later, my son Christopher was born. Our family moved to beautiful Hopewell Township in 1987. Since then, I have enjoyed teaching nursery school, kindergarten, humane education and drawing instruction.
When I’m not at Lambertville Academy, I enjoy being out in nature, gardening, healthy food prep, biking with my husband, David, and caring for our pup, Molly!
I just received my BA from Rutgers University/Institute for Women’s Leadership where I doubled majored in English and Women’s and Gender Studies. I am looking forward to starting graduate school in the fall and hope to one day complete my CDA credential as well!
I have had a variety of experience working with children in the past. I have experience working in a corporate center as an assistant, co-teacher and finally lead teacher. I have also been a nanny for a range of ages for the past 18 years as well! I enjoy working with and tutoring children of all ages!
I am so excited for myself and my son to join the Lambertville Academy community and to get to know you all!
in the Yellow Room with the PSII class.
I graduated from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.
I am a Titusville resident, but I lived in Stockton on my family’s farm for five years. Living on a farm has provided me with a lot of hands-on experiences with nature that I value deeply and bring into the classroom.
I believe children learn best through engaging, authentic, hands-on experiences. I focus on helping them become a confident, valued member of the classroom community.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I look forward to gaining valuable experience while working with the children and families at Lambertville Academy. I hope to one day pursue my degree in Early Childhood Education!
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in music from Allegheny College, and then earned an MAT in elementary education from The College of New Jersey. Since getting my certification in 1997, I have taught most grade levels and subjects from kindergarten through eighth grade. In 2012, I received my CDA. I have always enjoyed the creativity and fun of working with younger children the most!
In my spare time I enjoy reading, hiking, singing and dancing. I also hope to pursue further studies in early childhood education. I am so happy to be lucky enough to work with the wonderful children and staff of the Lambertville Academy!
In 1992, after graduating from Colby- Sawyer College in NH, with a BA in Fine Art, I managed an art gallery in New Hope, PA. In 2000, I received a BFA in Illustration from Parson’s School of Design.
Born into a family of educators, naturally I was inspired to teach. I started my teaching career substituting at LPS then realized that working with young children was the career path I wanted to pursue.
I have been a part of the Lambertville Academy team since 2008 and in 2011, I received my CDA. I’ve always enjoyed helping children learn the skills needed for growth and development! I love getting to know your child’s personality!
I have a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University and I have completed my coursework for the CDA credential.
I have worked for several NORWESCAP programs including the Head Start preschool classroom. I have also worked as a bilingual home visitor for the NORWESCAP Family Success Center.

I have worked with children of all ages throughout my life as a mentor and coach.
I mainly work with the School-Age Programs but can also be found working with the PS II class in the Yellow Room.
I am currently pursuing the CDA Credential and plan on completing the requirements in the near future.
