Hello! My name is Lisa Milisivana and I am the Director of Lambertville Academy.

I attended Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania where I received a B.A. in Communications and completed the programs for Early Childhood and Elementary Education in 2003. I have worked in a variety of school settings before coming to Lambertville Academy including public, private and Montessori schools. I have been with Lambertville Academy since 2007. Since then, I have been Senior Teaching Staff for the Pre-K class as well as the School Age After-Care Program. Before becoming Director in 2015, I also worked as an Administrative Support Staff since 2010. I look forward to finishing my Master’s in Educational Administration.

In addition to having the privilege of working with young children, I enjoy spending time with my nieces, reading and traveling to warm places! I love coming to work every day and being able to watch your children grow.

Christie Heutmaker

Hello! My name is Christie Heutmaker and I am the Senior Teacher in the Green Room with the Preschool I class and assist Ms. Lisa as group teacher in the administrative office.

I am a graduate of The College of New Jersey where I majored in Elementary Education and Women’s and Gender Studies.

Before coming to The Academy, I taught a variety of different ages at The Goddard School of Ewing and worked at Big Bear Natural Foods in Lambertville.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking, riding bikes, crafting and watching shows and movies on Netflix.  I am the proud owner of a vintage Airstream trailer, which I am currently in the process of gutting and remodeling.  In the future, I plan to travel the country with my husband and our cat!

Carrie Nasile

Hello!  My name is Carrie Nasile and I am the Assistant Teacher in the Green Room with the PSI class.

I have been working with young children for 7 years. I have worked with children from infancy to age 5. I enjoy all ages and love watching the children enjoy learning new things every day.

I have been a lifelong resident of Hopewell Township.  I had such a great experience growing up along the Delaware River with my 8 older siblings!  My husband, Jerry, and I have 2 children and now 2 beautiful grandchildren.  It is such a joy being a mother and now a grandmother!

I love to read, spend time with my grandchildren, travel and take walks and golfing. I enjoy coming in to work each day to see the children’s smiles and to receive their hugs.  What a way to start the day!

I am so excited to be back and working with your children after the stay-at-home order was lifted.  Although I enjoyed the time cooking and cleaning at home, I love being at LA with all of our friends in the Green Room!

Felecia Blamo

Hello parents!  My name is Felecia Blamo and I am the Lead Pre-K teacher with the Blue Room!

I am originally from New York City, but I lived in California for over 30 years before moving here to New Jersey.

It is my dream job to be doing what I do…being the best preschool teacher I can be!

First, it is my belief that children are natural learners and must be given every opportunity to let their curiosity grow.  I believe that in doing so, we are ensuring each child’s ability to create and acquire more knowledge and skill as they continue to develop.  I base my preschool curriculum on three factors-1. The knowledge children already possess, 2. The child’s current skill level and 3. Preschool activities based on the skills the child will acquire in their next developmental stage.  I received my CDA credential in 2014 and I am currently working to complete my bachelor’s in preschool administration.

I am so excited to continue working with preschoolers and to be a part of the Lambertville Academy “family!”  I look forward to spending many happy days here with all of you!
